Villarreal’s new La Liga campaign gets underway as they welcome Granada to the Estadio de la Ceramica.

Granada’s tendency to start a new domestic league campaign slowly when playing on the road has seen them go winless in their last five away league openers across all divisions (D3, L2). Additionally, except for a narrow 1-0 win over Elche, Roberto Moreno’s men have failed to win nine of their previous ten trips to Valencian Community outfits (D5, L4).
